1. How Much Is This Going To Cost?

Travel:

Your air travel is dependent on where you live and when you decide to purchase your ticket. This is up to you and the airlines. We can only advise that the sooner you purchase your tickets, the less it will cost.

Driving From L.A. is about 2 hours (longer if you plan to leave L.A. on Friday during commute hours) and from the Bay Area your drive is about 7 hours.

IF YOU ARE NOT FLYING DIRECTLY INTO PALM SPRINGS a quick and affordable option is to fly into Ontario California which is a quick one hour drive to Palm Springs.

Since you won't be traveling during a hectic holiday weekend, you won't have to deal with the huge airport delays and crowds associated with holiday travel.

Luggage, liquids, etc.:

Palm Springs is in the desert...so you don't need a lot of luggage no matter where you are coming from. This is a one bag trip (big bag or small). If you plan to only bring a carry-on, please be aware of carry-on fluid requirements to include the size of containers with fluids in them i.e. bottles of calogne, lotion, toothpaste and the requirement that these containers be able to fit in a clear zip lock bag. Affordability

While Palm Springs has been the playground of Hollywood's rich and famous for decades, you'll find outlets of IHOP, Denny's and other reasonably priced restaurants to balance out the big-ticket spending you can do in the city's gourmet eateries. Simply put: Palm Springs is a place where you can spend as much or as little as you like on dining. You can also find every type of lodging under the sun in Palm Springs --- from budget rooms in the $80 range to sky's-the-limit priced suites at well over $300.

Parking is FREE at all of our selected resorts and hotels.There is even a large parking garage that is free in downtown palm springs across from our overflow hotel (Las Brisas Best Western) and there is ample free parking behind most establishments in downtown Palm Springs.

2. Is This Just A Big Sex Party?

In its 2nd year, Blatino Oasis is a celebration of erotica and men of African & Latino descent. National demand for this sexy getaway caused our clothing optional VIP resort and our clothing optional host resort to sell out for 2008 last October (07). Our 2nd host resort is sure to sell out as well.

This weekend will include parties with top west coast djs, our Blatino Erotica Awards ceremony, celebrity guest, erotic authors & artist, relaxation activities and services to include meditation and massage services. Visitors will also be able to shop along beautiful Palm Canyon Drive, dine at world class restaurants, gamble at the Fantasy Casino, take a tram ride to the top of southern California's highest peak and dine, go horse back riding or take a balloon ride to the stars and so much more!

There will also be nude erotic shows, sex gatherings and sex demonstrations at the (Helios VIP Resort only)...so, among other things,YES!...It is a big celebration of sex and our sexuality and all men are welcome.

3. Can I Bring My Female Friends?

No! Our events are held at two private clothing optional men's only resorts. This event is specifically designed for men who are seeking to socialize with men and we would not want men who plan to be nude to feel uncomfortable with women around.

4. Are all the resorts clothing optional for this event?

The Helios Resort and the Club Canyon Hotel are the only clothing optional resorts that we have secured for this event. The other hotels that we have secured for overflow are regular hotels. However, there are quite a few clothing optional resorts in Palm Springs so please see our home page for details.

5. If you book your room at the Helios VIP Resort, your room includes a weekend all access pass to both of the resorts.

6. If you book your room at the Canyon Club Hotel, you will of course have free access to any event that takes place at this resort. However, you will have to pay for access to the Helios VIP resort and any other events not held at the Canyon Club resort.

7. For guest at all other resorts/hotels added for the Blatino Oasis weekend, you will need to purchase day passes to access Helios or Canyon Club and the various events that take place at these resorts.

8. All party/resort access passes will cost no more than $20 each and even better deals are available if you purchase our weekend pass. The best way to understand how the events work is to think that every time that you go to a different location, unless you are staying at the Helios resort or the Canyon Club, it will cost.

9. Although the resorts serve a "continental breakfast" to residents and some of our events will offer snacks. We encourage you to explore the many restaurants in Downtown Palm Springs. These cost will of course depend on your appetite and wallet.

11. Ground Transportation

The PSP airport has most major rental car services (see here). Although the resorts are not far from each other or from downtown, you might need to catch a quick taxi from your resort to the Helios Resort. Should you decide to rent a car, gas won't be a problem because you could drive to everything over the weekend and still have a half a tank of gas left or more, that's just how close everything is. Remember, parking is FREE all over town. Check this shuttle service link to arrange a taxi or a shuttle if you will not be renting a car.

12. Can I use My Camera or Camcorder for the shows?

Blatino Oasis has our own team of photographers and videographers for this event and we are very careful to only photograph people who give us their permission to do so. Camera's & camcorders are not allowed at the HELIOS RESORT for the shows. And unauthorized photos of attendees is not allowed.
