your drive is about 7 hours.

IF YOU ARE NOT FLYING DIRECTLY INTO PALM SPRINGS, a quick and more affordable option is to fly into Ontario California which is a quick one hour drive to Palm Springs.
Since you won't be traveling during a hectic holiday weekend, you shouldn't have to deal with the huge airport delays and crowds associated with holiday travel.

2.PASSES
If you book your room at the Canyon Club Hotel, you and your resident guest are required to purchase a $50 resident weekend event
pass. Resident Passes must be purchased in advance (deadline March 31 click here). You could lose your room
at this event hotel if you do not purchase your pass before the deadline.
For guest at our host resort Renaissance Marriott, you will need to purchase passes to Canyon Club and all other events.

3.REFUND POLICY
Refund request that are more than sixty days past the original purchase date, cannot automatically be charged back to your card per Pay Pal policy.
Passes can be refunded with a minimum two week (14 day)
advanced notice. Refunds will be made in the form of a money order, within 30 days after Blatino Oasis has ended, minus processing fees.

4.HOTELS
The Renassaince is a full survice luxury resort hotel with all
of the amenities that you would expect from a luxury hotel.
However, the Canyon Club hotel is not a full service hotel and only serves a light "continental breakfast". We encourage you to explore the many restaurants in Downtown Palm Springs. These cost will of course depend on your appetite and wallet.

5.Affordability
While Palm Springs has been the playground of Hollywood's rich and famous for decades, you'll find outlets of IHOP, Denny's and other reasonably priced restaurants to balance out the big-ticket spending you can do in the city's gourmet eateries. And just 20 minutes away you can find some of the most amazing shopping outlets (Desert Hills Outlets) with everything from Guess to Gucci. Simply put: Palm Springs is a place where you can spend as much or as little as you like. You can also find every type of lodging under the sun in Palm Springs --- from budget rooms in the $60 range to sky's-the-limit priced suites at well over $300 per night . We however, recommend that you lodge at our host resort the Renaissance Palm Springs!

6.HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
PLAN TO DRESS VERY LIGHT...NO HEAVY CLOTHES!!
Palm Springs boast a comfortable climate year-round so pack light. Palm Springs is a one bag trip. There really is no need for heavy clothing in this desert oasis. Even during the summer the absence of humidity provides a comfortable dry heat (very light casual clothing, shorts, bathing trunks,is recommended).
You will however, need a sun screen to protect your skin whether you plan to hang out in the sun a lot or not (light or dark skin).
The sun protection factor or "SPF" of a sunscreen indicates the time period you can stay in the sun without burning based on your skin complexion.

The year-round average daytime temperature is 87 degrees, and Palm Springs prides itself on having 344 humidity-free days of sunshine annually. Beware though, dry heat can easily dehydrate you, so drink lots of water. Temperatures in May can range from 80 degrees at night to the mid 90's during the day, typical desert weather and very comparable to Las Vegas. The daytime heat is why private clothing optional resorts and spas abound in this desert Oasis.

Going into our 4th year (May 7-10, 2010), Blatino Oasis is a vacation escape for men and a celebration of men of African & Latino descent that also celebrates our sexuality and adult erotica. We have been pleasantly surprised to learn that a large number of our attendees have been couples and we encourage more couples to join us each year for a sexy and romantic California escape.
11. Are all the resorts clothing optional for this event?
The Canyon Club Hotel is the only clothing optional (nude) hotel that we have secured for this event. However, palm springs has many men's nude hotels to fit your lifestyle should you choose to stay at a clothing optional hotel.
12. Parking & Ground Transportation
The Renaissance has shuttle service (click here). You can also catch a quick taxi from the Renaissance resort to the Canyon Club hotel. Should you decide to rent a car (click here), gas won't be a problem because you could drive to everything over the weekend and still have a half a tank of gas left or more, that's just how close everything is. Remember, parking is FREE all over town. Check this shuttle service link to arrange a taxi or a shuttle if you will not be renting a car.
13. Can I use My Camera or Camcorder for the shows?
Blatino Oasis has our own team of photographers and videographers for this event and we are very careful to only photograph people who give us their permission to do so. Unauthorized photos of attendees is not allowed. Camcorders are definitely not allowed.
